How do I log in?

How do I give my Scout access to Scoutbook?

Due to Scoutbook complying with a Federal Law regulating a minor’s use of internet sites, only a connected parent can grant access to a Scout to use Scoutbook. Scoutbook instructions

How do I get added to Scoutbook?

Are you a Parent\Guardian of a Scout: 
Use the request form below. If one parent is already connected, you can additionally ask them to add you.
non-Parent\Guardian:
Please contact the Scout’s parent.

    How do I add others to be able to view my child?

    How do I change my info (address, phone, etc)?

    1. Login
    2. Click on “My Dashboard”
    3. Click on “My Account”
    4. Click “Edit Profile”
    5. Update information
    6. Click Update button to Save

    How do I change my email address?

    1. Login

    3. Click on “My Account”
    4. Click “Email”
    5. Enter new email
    6. Follow instructions on screen

    How do I change my password?

    How do I change my Scout’s info (address, phone, etc)?

    3. Click on their name
    4. Click “Edit Profile”
    5. Update information
    6. Click Update button to Save

    I forgot my password, how do I reset it?

    Our Troop does’t have be ability to reset passwords. Please use Scoutbook’s official procedure.

    When do items get approved by leaders?

    Rank Advancements: After a Scout successfully completes their board of review
    Merit Badges: When the Scout turns in their completed blue card
    Awards: When they turn in the form indicating completion of the award’s requirements

    Paper vs Electronic Signoffs

    The handbook and blue cards are still the official records of the BSA. Scoutbook can serve as a useful back up.
